Lallemand Health Solutions is the fruit of the combined expertises of Institut Rosell (founded in 1934 and acquired in 1998), Harmonium International Inc (created in 1998 and acquired in 2011), both specialized in the production and marketing of probiotic for Human use, and of Lallemand Health Ingredients, promoting a complete line of highly bioavailable mineral- and vitamin-enriched yeasts (Lalmin®), and a range of premium cranberry powders and extracts.
The company is dedicated to the selection, development, production and marketing of probiotic formulations for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Mineral- and vitamin-enriched yeasts, β-glucans and cranberry extracts are offered separately or within probiotic formulations.
Lallemand Health Solutions also pursues Harmonium International’s mission to manufacture complex and custom formulations that are unique and specific to each of its customer needs. With extensive experience in the culturing and production of live microorganisms the company conducts today advanced research programs aimed at better understanding the properties, functions and beneficial effects of these probiotic formulations on health.
