Anchor Yeast is the leading yeast manufacturer in Africa with a proud heritage spanning over 75 years. Anchor Yeast has established a reputation as a market leader in yeast technology in Southern Africa, dating back to 1923. The business today boasts a dedicated workforce of over 400, two state-of-the-art factories, and a national distributors network which ensures the delivery of the freshest quality yeast for customers and consumers alike.
Lallemand GB operates a yeast business in the UK and Ireland from its factory based in Felixstowe. The Felixstowe yeast plant produces bakers cream and compressed yeasts, as well as instant dry yeast for the European and world markets.
Lallemand Baking Solutions specializes in the development and application of enzyme-based dough conditioners, yeast-based dough relaxers, and sour dough starters. It is a subsidiary of Lallemand, the Canadian yeast and bacteria producer, and has offices in Montreal, Chicago, and Toulouse.
