Lallemand exhibited at the Bakery Showcase (hosted by the Bakery Association of Canada) from May 6-8, in Toronto Canada. The Bakery Showcase was the forum for over 200 industry suppliers to display the latest in products and services to the baking industry.
The Lallemand booth featured our latest packaging improvement – the change in color of our bakers compressed yeast cello from white to blue. Various elements of the booth, including blue candy, reflected this theme.
Lallemand Vitamin D Yeast, in addition to innovations like our inactive yeast for sodium reduction, was promoted on the booth. The format of the Bakery Showcase included seminars on various topics for the baking industry. Thierry Etienne, key account manager for Lallemand Baking Solutions, presented an informative talk on a bakers approach to clean labels, including the principles for optimizing baking formulations.
The Bakery Showcase was a great opportunity to meet customers and demonstrate our technical and product capabilities. We intend to continue our participation at this event next year.
