• Application

  Levucell SB® is an active dry yeast for use as a probiotic in animal feeds. Levucell SB® contains the CNCM (Pasteur Institute) I-1079 strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae boulardii . It is produced from a specially selected strain, has a well understood mode of action, and provides a consistently high concentration of pure viable yeast. Levucell SB® can be used in most animal feeds and is especially useful for swine, poultry, and milk replacer for young ruminant diets.

  • Europe:

    On October 2005, Lallemand has been granted permanent authorisation from the European Commission for the use of its live yeast strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae boulardii I-1079 (Levucell® SB) as natural feed additive in sows & piglets (authorisation number E1703).

  • United States:

    Levucell® SB is considered GRAS by the US FDA and complies with the AAFCO requirements for Active Dry Yeast.

  • Canada:

    Levucell® SB is registered in Canada for sows and piglets.

  • Other Regions :
