  Bactocell® is a probiotic formulated with a specific strain of lactic acid bacteria : Pediococcus acidilactici registered at the National Collection of Micro-organism Culture (CNCM, Pasteur -France), number MA 18 5 M. Its living cells act in a positive manner on the balance and function of the intestinal flora with further benefits on improvement of animal-technical performance in monogastric species.

  • Europe:

    On October 2005, Lallemand has been granted permanent authorisation from the European Commission for its probiotic Bactocell^® (specific strain Pediococcus acidilactici MA 18/5M, deposited at Institut Pasteur) for use as zootechnical feed additive in fattening pigs under the authorisation number E1712.

  • United States:

    Bactocell® is considered GRAS by the USA FDA and complies with the AAFCO requirements.

  • Canada:

    Bactocell® is registred for monogastrics in Canada..

  • Other Regions :
